Command & Control

Command & Control gives drone operators a working environment with aircraft-control equipment, communications and power. Sky Robots South Africa engineers and integrates vehicle, trailer, container and permanent control-room systems.

Four installation formats

Choose the format according to site access, repositioning needs and available power. For international projects, Sky Robots Mauritius coordinates the commercial relationship with the local Country Partner.

Vehicle

A mobile operator environment for sites requiring frequent repositioning. The vehicle platform, workstations, communications and power equipment are selected and integrated to the agreed project requirements.

Trailer

A transportable ground station with operator workstations and communications equipment, configured for the site and available power infrastructure.

Shipping container

A semi-permanent installation with space for operators, equipment and supporting infrastructure. Power, cooling and the internal fit-out are specified for each project.

Fixed office or control room

An operator environment integrated into an existing building, with aircraft-control equipment, communications and workstations selected for the facility.

Photographs show example installations. Specific equipment, power, cooling, workstations and amenities vary by project and quotation.

Specialist technology, locally integrated

South Africa specifies specialist control and communications equipment. For international projects, the Country Partner sources and builds the local platform and integrates equipment to the agreed engineering design. Mauritius coordinates the commercial relationship.

The project scope lists computers, radios, antennas and control equipment, together with responsibility for mounting, wiring, power, cooling, testing and commissioning.

Documentation and technical support accompany the supplied Sky Robots equipment. Local site works and fit-out are assigned explicitly in the project scope.

Aircraft and supporting systems

C2 is selected separately

C2 infrastructure is quoted separately from the SRV32 G3 aircraft package. The Sky Robots Multirotor Drone supports normal operations through its included handheld controller.

Software, communications and control

ROIP connects authorised operators to site aviation radio. SkyOS analyses flight logs and reports aircraft condition. These products complement the physical Command & Control environment.

The engineering scope identifies any software and radio connections included with the operator equipment.
